About Me
Hello and Welcome!
My name is Bentley Logue and I am like a honey bee. I am an extremely hard worker giving everything above and beyond with a constant smile. Passionate and creative problem solver eager to accomplish any task using strong visual skills, while thinking both sustainably and practically. Ambitious and creative individual that loves and has a will to create because, design is encompassed in everything and it's our job to see it and create it. I graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Design. I graduated Magna Cum Laude and have recently moved to Atlanta. This past spring, I interned for The Mint Julep Boutique in Auburn, Alabama, as their creative intern designing digital marketing campaigns for their Instagram of over 300,000 followers. Two summers ago, I interned with the Richmond Chamber of Commerce as their Graphic Design Intern helping brand their 100th Year Celebration. At both internships I worked hard and did more than what was asked of me. I loved both internships because I was able to immerse myself in two very different business worlds, both worlds I’m very passionate about. In the process I learned more about design and how to apply design principles in the real world.
This year, I have been working as a freelance graphic designer while building my painting business on the side. This summer and fall, I’ve had the privilege to work as a Graphic Design Intern for Jonny Bradford’s Travel Consulting. I am in the process of re-branding his website and Instagram page. His website can be found at www.jonnytrvl.com. Branding is a vital aspect to any company. Not unlike a good first impression, branding when done right is a way to put your best foot forward with prospective customers and collaborators.
Being a freelance designer and having a painting business on the side, I’d like to think I have an eye for design and have mastered time management. I have experience with typography, painting, drawing, Sketch Up, Revit, Microsoft, and all the Adobe applications. Some of my experience with being in Environmental Design is that it’s a multidisciplinary degree focusing on architecture, graphic design, and interior design. As an environmental designer, I create while serving as a liaison between graphic designers architects and interior designers. I believe that my problem-solving skills, ability to see the grand scheme, and ability to read and connect with people is something that you look for in an employee. I pride myself not only on my ability to connect with people but on being a hard worker and exceeding expectations with a constant smile on my face.
Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my website! Environmental Design is my passion because it's creating systems in our built environment to create a better, safer world to live in. Not only that but creating art is my passion, whether that be figure grounds, paintings on cubes, and that's how this website was born! My high school teacher, Mr. Sanchez, told my class senior year that we needed to find something that we are passionate about. Something that makes up want to wake up ready and excited to go to work every day! I think I've found it and can't wait to see what the future holds. Thanks again for checking it out!
