Here are some abstract paintings I've been working on in my spare time! Let me know if you'd like to commission one!
This was my first time ever creating an abstract painting. To be honest, abstract art wasn't exactly my forte in high school, I never quite understood it. My roommates and I have just moved into our house and we decided we wanted a big painting for over our bar cart. I decided that I would paint it and give it a try! I worked with the colors in our house; blues, teals, greys, and gold. This painting is 48x56 and painted with acrylic paint.
This was my one of my first abstract paintings I painted for myself! It has hues of blue, white, and grey, with hints of gold and pink to match my room!
This painting was commissioned by my roommate Madie Wirz. She wanted a painting that had hints of pink, blue, grey, white, and gold. Instead of gold paint like my first painting, I experimented with gold leaf. It's 48x56, painted with acrylics and in a gold frame from Hobby Lobby.
This piece was commissioned by Mallory Fox. She wanted a piece that matched the white of her room but accented the pink, orange, and gold. So that's exactly what this painting is, hues of pink, yellow, orange, with thick strokes of white paint and hints of gold leaf. As you can see below the final product, most of my paintings have a bolder first layer, so the white tones down the brighter hues.

Here is the painting in it's new home!
This is my latest piece commissioned by Hannah Sessums! She wanted two small pieces that were mainly white with hints of black, gold, and grey. Like other pieces, I used gold leaf to accent the gold and painted the edges around the canvas gold to frame the two pieces and bring out the gold leaf.
